[Fight Scene Friday] Triple Dragon - Real Life Double Dragon

This week's Fight Scene Friday™ scene is an homage to the side scrolling fighting games of the 80s and 90s, done by the Stunt People! Eric Jacobus plays Eye Patch, Dennis Ruel plays Tornado (the one with the baseball hat), and Lucas Okuma plays Iron Shirt (the one in the martial arts gi). Really good choreography in this one! Remixed video game music as well. It even make fun of the misspellings and incorrect grammar of early video games. Check it out!
 

[Fight Scene Friday] Rope A Dope 2 - Wake, Fight, Repeat... AGAIN!

 It's Fight Scene Friday™, and this week's scene is, to me, the best scene Eric Jacobus and the Stuntpeople made. It's a sequel to the Rope-A-Dope short film, which is a sort of martial arts Groundhog Day. What can I say? The action in this is so good! Eric Jacobus and the Stuntpeople really outdid themselves with this one! I watched this every morning before going to my university classes to pump me up for the day! The music in this rocks, as well! I wonder if there will ever be a third Rope-A-Dope?

 

[Fight Scene Friday] Jay vs. Eric Jacobus 3 (Gunpoint series)

 This week's Fight Scene Friday™ scene is a one-on-one fight between Eric Jacobus and Fernando 'Jay' Huerto! This scene is taken from a remake of the Gunpoint series Jay was working on (I assume). This series looked like it was going to rock! Things happen, and I don't think the series was ever released (I've been looking for it), but at least we have this scene to marvel over. Eric and Jay really go hard in this one!

 This week's Fight Scene Friday™ scene is a short film from Eric Jacobus and the Stunt People crew. The fight scenes are fast and hard-hitting in this one, and the concept is actually pretty interesting to me. If this was a full length movie or a TV show, I would be all about it! Check it out!

 I've been so worried about things I need to get done that I almost forgot it was Fight Scene Friday™! This week's fight scene is from Eric Jacobus and the Stunt People crew! I loved this scene so much back when it first came out! It's actually kind of inspiring! Eric Jacobus and crew outdid themselves with this one! Check it out!

 

[Fight Scene Friday] Wake Up Juice - Messy martial arts mayhem (Eric Jacobus)

 It's Friday, and you know what that means! It's Fight Scene Friday™! This week's scene is a short film called Wake Up Juice! It was directed by Tylor Bohlman and produced by Blair Kelly. Stunt choreography was done by the extremely talented and underrated Eric Jacobus!

Eric Jacobus ran a message board back in the day called The Stuntpeople (named after his stunt group), and that is where amateur/indie stunt groups would share their latest fight scenes. I only lurked there, but I always hoped to one day share a film there. That's pretty hard to do when you have no one to work with. The Stuntpeople board is no more, but the fight scenes shared there live on on YouTube. Check this one out, it's wild!
